Today, I went out and bought new shoes at the Shoe Carnival on Harbison Boulevard. I am totally tagging this entry so that, a year from now, I will know where I got the shoes from. That is, if shoes are still available under the future administration. *eyeroll*
I also found a new pair of pajama pants at Harmicks of all places. They cost me $6 and I'm wearing them right now.
Hung out at the Store for a little while and chatted with Jorg about the future of Diamond. Jorg is of the hope that they'll get their shit together and bounce back, providing better service. Why? Because ordering comics, etc. from multiple distributors is a pain in the friggin ass.
Afterwards, I went by Firehouse Subs and tried a New York Steamer. It was really good and I will be getting it again in future. Then, I came home, threw out my old shoes, vacuumed my bedroom and *finally* made my bed. The cats hung out with me for a while. Fatboy got trapped inside my bathroom cabinet, while Link just sprawled on the carpet, purring like a purring thing.
A lot of my social media right now is taken up by people reacting to the Vulture article on Neil Gaiman and the allegations made against him. I think it's strange how none of the women pressed criminal charges at the time of the alleged incidents and the one woman continued to work for him as a babysitter after the first alleged incident with him. Believe what you belive. I have no intention of getting rid of any of the books in my library written by Gaiman, nor will I dispose of the Endless statues I own. But, to each their own, I suppose.
