So, yesterday I was perusing want ads on Cuntlist when I saw a part-time job advertised. The ad looked legitimate, so I fired off a query.
Guess what?
It was a total scam!
Gawsh!
Say it ain't so, Mel!
But, alas, it is. It was. At least these scammers made an effort. Their English was perfect and their pitch was realistic enough not to set off any alarm bells.
Doesn't change the fact that I still feel like an idiot for responding to it.
But that's cool. I posted a response to the ad warning others that it was a scam. So at least it's less likely that anyone else will fall for it.
I think I'm gonna restrict my jobsearch to places like CareerBuilder and Monster from this point on.
More later. - MEL
