So, 365tomorrows.com accepted one of my flashfics for their website. Not sure when it's going up, and I'm honestly surprised they accepted it. The story, "Snap Decisions", is sort of a riff off Doctor Who.
In other, writing-type stuff, I'm slugging away at a story that has the working title, "1948." It's kind of steampunky, sort of. Well, sort of steampunk post-apocalyptic. And it may have zombies in it. Or revenents or something. I'm not sure. It keeps changing on me.
Between slugging away on "1948" I sent off another flashfic to www.flashfictiononline.com. Unlike 365tomorrows, these folks actually pay for stuff that they accept. I sent in a story called "Contact." Hope to hear from them in a couple of weeks.
Still no word from Tor or from any of the agents I queried week before last.
Still, we live in hope.
