Eh. Went by Ye Olde Comic Shoppe today and they didn't have the new books out because they were all too busy fawning over some guy who drew a couple of issues of Amazing Spider-Man or something. Pheh.
I love my local comic shop, but God damn if they don't get their shit together I'm going to start ordering books from one of the online shops.

Y'know, I looked at the first issue when it came out and it did nothing for me. If I had to rec a "normal guy goes superhero" book to people, I'd probably point them to The Black Pearl or even the old Whisper comics, not to Kick-Ass.
Are you getting it?
