Job hunting in this economy is a soul-destroying business.
Big shock, huh?
Yeah.
I'm not going to whine about it, though, because unlike a lot of other people I wasn't 'separated' from my old job. I left of my own free will because if I'd stayed, I seriously think I might have done someone, somewhere some harm.
And, at least now I'm living somewhere that's reasonably close to a metropolitan area where jobs can actually be found.
Whatever.
I'm still writing, still promoting my stuff. That, as far as I'm concerned, is my real job. Anything else I do will just be for money.
I'll be heading north to Washington this September. If anyone in the D.C. Metro Area wants to get together, that'd be cool. I'll be attending a wedding and visiting some old friends. Hopefully, by then, the mugginess will not be so oppressive. I remember D.C. in August. I remember it far too well.
Off now, to watch some Youtube videos and, I don't know, unwind.
