So, it's 2014 and I hope everyone's had a happy new year so far. Mine has been okay. I'm just sort of muddling along over here in my little corner of the universe. Working on the writing for the first time in ages and dealing with the house revamp. Today I am meeting with contractors to get some quotes on redoing the kitchen/master bath. Tomorrow, the painter comes over and we finalize things before he starts scraping my ceilings, prequel to painting other things.
In other news, I'm now a year older. Hurrah? Only 56 more years to go before the centennial. So, something to look forward to. As I said, today I'm meeting with contractors, but tonight I plan on going out and having some fun. I don't know what sort of fun I'm going to be having but, hopefully, it will not involve the police.
Although it may involve handcuffs at some point.
