So, last week my paycheck bounced. I waited until I got the returned check and went to the boss's bank to cash it this morning. Only I couldn't because of insufficient funds in the account. I also have my current paycheck, waiting to cash. If I had deposited those checks in my bank account today, they would bounce.
My boss has the money. He sold a 12,000 foot warehouse/store in January. He is currently building a new house for himself near the lake. Even more recently, he went out and bought a Hemingway collection.
There is no reason for him NOT to have that money in the account.
None at all.
I am giving him the benefit of the doubt and hoping he will make a deposit today.
I will check again tomorrow, but if I still can't cash those checks?
I'm going to walk.
I don't need the aggravation and the stress.
It's just not worth it.
