J has band practice tonight at around 6, so I decided I'm going to go to the movies and see Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Of course, this means I also decided to have a bite to eat before leaving, around sixish, so off to the grocery store I went.
After last night's junk food, I decided to keep it pretty simple today. I got:
1 Package of Chicken-flavored Microwave Rice
1 Can of Butter Beans
1 Can of Pinto Beans
1 Bag of Baby Spinach
5 Bananas.
I came home and had the rice and then two bananas with chocolate sauce. Sitting here on the couch, I feel full but not overfull. Since I don't plan on eating again until I come home, probably around 9ish, this'll hold me over through the movie.
I don't like to get snacks at the movies, because they're too expensive and there's not really anything there I feel good about eating. They pop their popcorn in oil, so that's off the table, and even though I could get a diet soda, I refuse to pay $70000 for a drink.
