So, it's day three of my 'meatless' experiment and so far, so good.
I got up this morning and made the video, then drove over to GNC to see what sort of protein powders they have. I found one, plant-based AND on sale, so I bought it. It's all right, as far as taste goes, but it doesn't dissolve very well in milk or water. So I'm thinking I'll just use it as a kind of base for a desert mix. Add some water/milk to the powder, then add some berries or fruit or something and see how it goes.
Afterwards, I went by the grocery store and bought dinner.
I bought:
1 package of cornbread
1 can of chilli beans
1 can of black beans
1 can of diced tomatoes
1 small can of corn
1 can of blackberries.
Came home and made a nice chilli with the veggies, then ate most of it with the cornbread.
I actually haven't eaten it all because I feel so full.
Calorically, I'm not sure where I'm at. Somewhere under 2000, I think.
