It was midnight and I was thinking that I would go to bed when my phone rang.
It was Jorg.
I was like, "What the hell is going on?"
Turns out that Jorg, Alison and Shadow had driven into the woods to hunt for moths. Sadly, they had killed the battery on the truck by using it to power their moth-attracting lights.
So, Jorg called me, asking if I could come and pick them up.
I got dressed and drove to their location, which involved driving around a couple of locked gates and concrete barricades, back into the black woods.
I gave Jorg's truck a jump, then we all drove back to the house, where I learned that, not only ws one of my rear tail lights out, but one of my headlights as well.
The funniest part of the whole adventure was Shadow's reaction when he saw me. At first, because I was silhouetted against my car lights, he didn't recognize me. Then I spoke to him and he was all over me. It was hysterical.
Of course, after coming home, I realized that the roads we were on are supposedly some of the most haunted roads in the state.
I believe it.
Now, I'm about to go to bed.
