Just caught the premier of The Middleman from ABC Family. I guess the best word that sums it up, is 'cute.' First ep basically introduces the characters and the premise of the show, which is that the Middleman is hired to go in and clean up all the supervillainy wierdness that the world can't know about. Lots of comic book references. Generally, it was amusing, but the execution needs work. I don't think it's got the legs to keep going. I give it maybe 3 to 5 eps before ABC Family decides to pull the plug.
