In the last three days, we've seen a temperature shift of almost 80 degrees here on the Last Frontier. This would be considered a good thing if the melting snow, had not left behind nothing but sheets of windblown ice. You can actually skate across the parking lot outside Borders Books & Music.
It's like bloody Breakup out there right now.
And it's not going to last.
The weather front responsible for the temperature shift is already moving eastward. By this time next week, we'll be back down to the teens.
Hopefully, some time between now and then, we'll get some snow to layer the ice.
If not?
I'm so going by REI to buy a set of ice-cleats.
