Dealing with Massive Dicks

People are tired of wearing masks. I get it. I'm tired of wearing them too.
But we still have a mask policy in the Store.
So when people wander in and I ask them if they've got a mask and they say no and I tell them that they have to wear a mask to be in the store they get indignant and huffy.
And it pisses me off.
We don't have the mask policy because we're afraid of gettint Covid. We have the mask policy because we're concerned that we might give Covid to someone who isn't vaccinated.
It's not a fear thing. It's certainly not a political thing(which a lot of people seem to think for some idiotic reason). It's a consideration thing.
A lot of our regular customers, or a member of their close family, have underlying medical conditions that preclude them from getting vaccinated. So we have our mask policy to try and keep these vulnerable people safe.
People are tired of wearing masks. I get it. I'm tired of wearing them too.
But I still do because I'm not a massive dick.
I wish other people would have the same consideration.
