So, my Other Laptop is apparently on its last legs. I called my computer repair guys, who have changed their business model because of the Plague, and told them what was going on with it. They said it sounds like my hard drive is failing. They could replace my current drive with the new kind but it would cost about $250. For that sort of investment, I could just get a new laptop. I meant to go looking for one today, but just didn't feel like it, so I came home and drank a bottle of wine.
In other news, no more weird side pains to complain about since last night. Everyone's saying it was probably gallstones, but I don't think so. Not to be gross, but I haven't had a proper BM in a while, and I think its more related to that.
And that shouldn't be a problem for much longer, as I'm going to go meatless this week. Lots of rice and beans, potatoes and corn, with a sprinkling of nuts thrown in for extra protein. If that doesn't get things moving, I don't know what will.
Taking my friend, Paul, to do laundry tomorrow. That'll be nice. I still don't miss the Sunday Games, but I do miss seeing my friends. I need to call Gina and see if she wants to get lunch some day so we can catch up.
Also, today I went by my local witchy shop and bought myself a green man pendant and a couple of altar stones to cheery myself up. One of the stones is a garnet(my birthstone) and the other is a red-banded something-or-other that I just felt drawn to. So, something good today after all.
