So, I'm going to see the doctor again this Monday as a follow up to my last visit. I'm going to request a blood test to determine my white blood cell count. If its high, indicating an infection, we'll work from there.
On a possibly related note, I went for a walk tonight after work. When I came home, I had to pee and was alarmed when my urine had a pinkish tinge to it.
Now, I'm not the sort to leap to crazy medical conclusions. There was no pain when I peed and today I had a Coke and a sweet tea. Also, I have been eating blackberries.
I drank a couple of glasses of water, to induce peeing, and my urine was normal in appearance. So I'm thinking this may just be related to what I drank/ate today.
In any event, I'm keeping my eye on it.
When I see the doctor on Monday, I'll tell him about it.
If it happens again, I may go to the ER just as a precaution.
Hopefully, it won't.
Healthwise, this month has been crappy.
I'll keep y'all appraised.
