Today, I slept in until 2PM. I'm not sure why, but I suspect that I needed it. I'm about to go to bed after I write this, as I'm feeling very warm and sleepy.
Since this Sunday is my birthday and I'll be working, I decided to go to my friend, Jen's, shop and buy myself a present. I found a lovely golden Baby Ganesh statue which I took home and immediately remembered that I'd already got a Lord Ganesh on the statue shelf.
Still, I like the little fellow and will keep him with me. Perhaps, I'll put one of them in my car. Ganesh is known as the Remover of Obstacles, so if he could clear up traffic in front of me, that would be wonderful.
After my two day Clear Liquid Diet, my stomach feels better. Today, I had some white rice with peas and chicken, two bananas, an Activia yogurt and a can of sliced peaches in water.
It sounds like a lot, but it's probably only about 1200 or 1300 cals.
Also, I've drunk a ton of water and had a nice cup of warm milk.
Jen suggested I see a nutritionist regarding my kidney prevention concerns, and I've been thinking about it, but trying to find one who doesn't sound like a complete prat via their websites is daunting. I'm also thinking of having a blood test done to determine if I even need to worry about oxalates?
Anyway, tomorrow, I go to work and this weekend I'll be manning the Store on my own as Jorg will be off at a show.
Sometime next week I shall get my revised hospital bill, and, hopefully, an itemized bill as well.
I was a bit pissed for a while, as the hospital tried to charge me for a COVID booster that I got at a free clinic. It's probably just a clerical error or something, but I was so pissed that I shared the matter with one of the local news stations. COVID vaccines and boosters are supposed to be free.
This has only made me happier that I requested an itemized bill.
Now, it's off to bed.
