Up and about the house this morn, attending to chores. Boiled the dishes, swept the floors, beat the rugs, plucked all the weedlings growing out of the front steps, and am currently performing the Rites of Laundry. The last I could forbear for a time, but 'tis better to get a thing done in the present than delay 'til the future.
After this, I shall away to the Mediocre Market and purchase the day's victuals. And I should attend to the needs of mine carriage some time this week, as certain rites and ceremonies are needed to keep it operating in best condition.
And then, later, I shall scribble away at the joyful labor of writing, which I have been neglecting the last few days.
And so, onward, into the day!
