So, I've been sick this week.
Nothing too serious, just a Bad Cold. Which begs the question: is there ever any such thing as a Good Cold?
But I digress.
I've been feeling like crap since Tuesday morning and I'm just now starting to feel like a human being again and not a scarecrow with a 10 lb. ball of snot for a head. Today, I went out and bought some elderberry syrup to help with the cough/scratchy throat.
I'm taking tomorrow off, but will be going into the Store this Saturday. And I'll be masking up at the Store until I'm sure I'm fully recovered.
I'm convinced I caught this damn thing from someone at the Store, some plague-ridden child who didn't have the manners to cover their mouth when they were coughing or sneezing. So, I'll be being much more careful and proactive regarding stuff like this in the future.
If I had my druthers, I'd put a sign up on the door with something like, "We reserve the right to kick your ass out if we think you're sick."
Heh.
I'm sure that would go over a real treat.
And the worst thing about this week, aside from being sick, is that there was absolutely nothing to watch on the Internet.
The entire Internet was devoid of anything interesting.
How is that possible????
When I was a kid and got sick, I'd make a bed on the living room couch and watch daytime television. Stuff like 'The Price is Right' and 'Wheel of Fortune.' Reruns of sitcoms like, 'The Jeffersons' and 'Lavern & Shirley.'
These days?
Pheh.
Nothing of interest.
So I just sat around most of the week being sick, tired and bored.
