As I sit here, writing this, it's 135 AM on Sunday, so what I'm referring to happened yesterday on Saturday. Just wanted to make that clear for myself and all of you. LOL.
Today I got up and went to the Store. As I was leaving the house, I got stuck in traffic because of a marathon being run through downtown. After sitting on a major fucking street that they had decided to route this stupid run along for over 20 minutes, I said fuck it. I did a 360 and took an alternate route into the Store.
But then the Check Engine light came on in my car.
Great.
Wonderful.
So I got to the Store and set things up and started to open and then Jorg comes in and I tell him I need to get my car checked because of the light thing, so I'm not even at the Store for ten minutes before I'm leaving to deal with this shit.
So I wind up at a Firestone garage. They check my car and discover three problem codes. Basically my oxygen sensor and my spark plugs were frelled and my fuel system needed to get cleaned.
All of this cost me about $800 which I put on my credit card.
I haven't been to a garage in a while, but I think Firestone's prices are higher than normal. I don't think I'll be going back to them unless it's an emergency.
Oh, and on top of all of that, I saw the Chinese Spy Balloon floating over my city today. It was very small, but you could see it with the naked eye. There were military jets zipping all around it. When it got closer to the coast, the military finally shot the damn thing down.
So, that's been my day.
Hopefully, tomorrow is less 'interesting.'
