Ugh. So, I've been drinking these Bai Infusion drinks every once in a while, looking for a safe alternative to water. I'm not terribly fond of them, and today I found out that they contain Erythritol, a sugar alcohol.
I try my best to avoid sugar alcohols as my gut does not react well with them, which would explain why I have some problems with the Bai drinks.
So, no more Bai drinks for me.
I'm still looking for some water alternatives. I'm not lactose intolerant, so milk is an option. Tea drinks are off the table because they're high oxalate. So are most sport drinks because of sodium/potassium content. I've tried mixing fruit in with my water, but it doesn't actually give it any additional flavor. And most of the little flavor add-in packs seem chock full of nasty chemicals that I just don't want to drink.
So, the hunt for liquid refreshment continues.
