So, my Covid quarantine has passed and so have most of the symptoms, except for a lingering sense of fatigue and a complete inability to sleep when I should. *sigh*
After my quartantine was over I went into the Store to do some things that I would have normally done last Friday. Things that, if I don't do, no one else will think to do. So I did those things and Jorg was there and we started chatting (because we haven't seen each other in five days even though we share a house). One of the things we chatted about was the new helper, David, who will be working with me while Jorg is away at the Big Show in a couple of weeks.
David is a 20-year old student, studying to be a writer, and the first thing Jorg says to me is: "Please don't date the 20-year old."
Which kind of made me laugh and go, "Don't worry, I never fuck anyone I work with."
Which just kind of made Jorg shake his head, although it's true.
I don't date/fuck anyone I work with.
Like the old saying goes, "You can't have a honey, where you make your money."
But it sort of amused me that he thought I would go after this guy. I think I've met him, and he didn't make any real impression. I think he's ginger? Maybe? I don't know. But obviously he's not interesting/hot enough to register with me, so I don't think any of us have to worry about a workplace romance.
