Well, shit.
LJ has gone and nuked scans_daily for TOS violations.
There's wild speculation that it was Peter David who got the com suspended, but none of the mods are saying anything.
My Friend's Page looks so...barren, without S_D.

Oh, brotherrrrrr.

Chances are whoever nuked it was probably afraid that the comic scans would have discouraged sales by previewing material that some fans may not like. But thing is, I buy my comic books based on the scans I see. I hope the idiots realize that in time.

Heh. I honestly don't think S_D ever had that great an influence on the market, so the Big Two probably didn't care about it one way or another. My impression is that LJ shut it down because of TOS violations, to cover their own butts. *shrug* Ah well. The site's moved to InsaneJournal and now there's noscans_daily set up as a discussion forum. Life goes on, I suppose.
