I got this at Ye Olde Comic Shoppe yesterday and have to say that I was very impressed. If Johns can keep this level of energy and surprise going through all eight issues, I'll be there. Also, the cynic in me thinks that this event is the ideal way to eliminate some of the useless dead weight from the DCU as well as resolving characters with overly convaluted backgrounds.
