Kevin Smith got tossed off a plane for being fat.
This story has grabbed precious webspace, not only on the MSN homepage, but also at Newsarama and even CNN.
Why? Because he threw a hissy fit and he's a celebrity director. Also, it's apparently been a really slow news cycle.
It must be for this to be considered news.
I'm not particularly sympathetic towards Mr. Smith. He said himself he bought two seats on his original flight, but when he was offered a single seat on standby he took it. If he hadn't been in such a hurry to get home, none of this would have happened.
And why the hell is Kevin Smith traveling standby? Or even sitting in coach? He's freakin' rich! Buy a first class seat, dude! You can totally afford it!
Pheh!
In other news, I am totally craving a fillet-o-fish sandwich from McDonalds.
As a matter of fact, all weekend I've been craving fish.
I think my body must be trying to tell me something.
