So, as of yesterday I have been out of work for about three months.
Honestly, it does not feel that long.
I've had a fair number of people come through the condo, looking, but no real interest. I suspect I shall be wintering here in Alaska.
Which means that tomorrow I should start to seriously look for work. Prior to now, I've put in a few applications here and there. I've gotten some offers from the Temp Agency, but they haven't felt like good fits so I've declined to pursue them. Plus, I've been hesitant to take any long term contracts because it would have felt wrong to agree to work somewhere for six months and then blow out after a few weeks.
Well, I don't think that's going to be a problem now.
So, time to dust off my resume and start looking in ernest.
More later. - MEL
