So, I'm working again. Started part-time at the Market Research Place this past weekend. Spent about five hours on Saturday and Sunday calling villages in Western Alaska and doing surveys on global warming. Its not hard work at all, gives me a little extra money, lets me put something down on a resume to show I'm employed, and gets me out of the house.
Most of the coworkers seem pretty decent. Did I mention that I'm the only guy working in this place? I'm tempted to wear my Sausage King sweatshirt in there one day, just to see what sort of reaction I get. Most of the crew is youngish, the other surveyors mostly young woman in their twenties.
Today, I have off. I may get called in tomorrow. There are some pending surveys coming up and those will probably keep us busy for a while. One is on charitable donations and the other is on aquaculture.
Weird thing today, though, is that my ears are ringing. I suspect it's from wearing the headphones at the PTJ with the volume turned up too high.
It's really weird.
Oh! And I might have someone interested in buying the condo. These folks came by and took a look at it last week, then came back yesterday. So, fingers crossed!
