This past Friday, I saw Thor at the Overpriced Cineplex. I wasn't expecting much, so was pleasantly surprised by the movie. On the Melworks Scale of Movie Love, I'd give it 6 out of 10; it's definitely worth paying full price to see and would probably stand up to a repeat view the next day.
Sadly, I can't say the same thing for Disney's African Cats. It was sentimental pap, and nothing you can't see on the National Geographic channel. Save your money. On the Melworks Scale of Movie Love, I'd give it a 1 out of 10; wait for it to come out on network television.
And finally, the latest ep of Doctor Who, The Curse of the Black Spot, was probably the worst ep I've seen with the current Doctor. Just horrible. Horrible! Hopefully, next week's ep will be better.
