Things I Am Currently Enjoying
Mar. 5th, 2009 08:53 pmThings I am currently enjoying:
Angel of Death webisodes over at Crackle.com. These ten minute webisodes star Zoe Bell, who plays an assassin. The premise is pretty simple: assassin gets a knife in the head and everything goes to hell. Check it out.
The Sofa of Time, an audio drama done by the BBC and currently available from BBC7. If you like Terry Pratchett, you'll probably like this story. It's about two likable losers from Earth who get transported to an atypical fantasy land, where one is apparently destined to overthrow the big bad evil. Kelly the Bow is my favorite character. :)
Old Harry's Game, another BBC Radio production, has just started releasing a 7th series. Set in Hell, OHG presents the trials and travails of Satan himself. This season, with God having gone walkabout and delegating his authority to the Angels, Satan's got his hands full dealing with two unlikely arrivals: a dog and a baby.
The Atomic Think Tank, a bulletin board system sponsored by Green Ronin Games and focusing largely on the Mutants & Masterminds game setting. Neat bunch of posters. I've been lurking in the Settings thread, where there are some truly inspiring creations available. If you get the chance, trawl through the thread and check out such settings as Bedlam City and Barrow. Where else are you likely to find a demonic version of Moby Dick???
