I took my friend, P, out on some of his errands today. P doesn't have a drivable vehicle and is on public assistance, but he just can't seem to get himself together enough to apply for disability. I wish he would so he could get his vehicle fixed and then start to pull his life back together.

I like P, but I believe his goal of returning to something resembling a working life is just a fantasy, something he tells himself to get through the day.

Anyway, because I was out and about all day, today's food was a bit crap.

I ate:

2 Reeses Peanut Butter Cups
3 Bananas
1 Can of Red Beans & Rice
1 Package of Banquet Turkey Sausage Links
1 Can of Very Cherry Fruit Cocktail.

Believe it or not this is about 1400 calories.

At least this was better than going by McDonald's and scarfing down a double whopper w/cheese combo meal.

Right?
