So, I have to admit to some irritation.

Yesterday morning I popped onto the scale, out of curiosity to see how things looked, and was a bit miffed. In the course of 24 hours my weight had shot up by 8 lbs.

Now, I'm not stupid. I know that the majority of this weight gain is water weight. But it's a bit irritating to see the actual numbers on a scale.

And, if I'm frank, somewhat disheartening.

Yes, you can logic your way out of the feeling, but the fact that one should have to is deeply irritating.

I looked at what I ate on Tuesday and it was a bit salty. So I'm thinking this next Free Day, I shall resist the urge to binge on chips. Or, avoid an entire bag of the bloody things, at the very least.

Happy Beltane!

I'm sitting here watching the BOnFire Beltane Online Fire Festival. It is very cool. You can find the video on Facebook and/or YouTube.

Because of the signifigance of the night, I'm letting myself enjoy some wine and chocolate.

The rest of my day has been pretty decent, food-wise.

Today, I have eaten:
1 Turkey & Cheese Sandwich
1 Crunchy Snack Pack containing apple slices, pretzels and cubed cheese
1 pack of microwave long grain brown rice
1 can of chunk chicken
1 small can of pineapple chunks
1 chocolate bar
2 glasses of Muscato wine

I'm estimating on the calories in the wine, since it's just a smallish box and not a proper bottle.

UPDATE:
D'oh! I forgot I had an energy bar. That's about 200 more cals. So, I'm at about 2050 cals.
