Mar. 18th, 2024 06:44 pmI've completed the blackout shades for my car's side windows, and will be on the lookout for a sunshade for the front window (the standard shade they sell at AutoZone is too freakin' big!),but now I must consider the rear window.
In case I haven't mentioned it, my car is a 2004 Pontiac Vibe. Not the fancy GT model either. The basic. There's a hatch with glass that can be opened separately, and a big honkin' rear window windshield wiper thingee as well.
I'm thinking if I can find some suction cups, I can attach them to the black cloth I have and then attach them on the outer edge of the hatchback glass. The hard thing will be finding suction cups that work (or maybe magnets?),and attaching them to the cloth.
It is a thought project that is keeping me from going nuts.
Also, made an interesting discovery this afternoon. Jorg was over today cleaning out the Downstairs, and we started talking and he mentioned that he planned to pay be $500 a week.
Um. What?
That would mean I'd be getting $2000 a month. That, would defininitely make finding an apartment/house share easier. I thought, once I moved out, I would just be getting another $300 a month.
So, that's a positive thing. If it happens. (I hope it happens.)
Also, Jorg's Wife got fired from the accounting firm last week. No explanation was given. This was after the owner was at her for 9 years to come and work for him. Apparently this has happened before at this workplace, and the general scuttlebutt is that the lady manager who does the firing tends to target other women. Don't know if it's true or not, but if it is that is one fucked up lady.
And Pollen Season has begun here. Everything is covered in yellow Misery Dust. My allergies are in overdrive. My nose wants to run off my face and my gums freakin' ache. I'll be so glad when it's all over with.
