Today, I said goodbye to Texas and hello Louisiana! As I crossed the state line, I was listening to Dixieland jazz which has set the tone for the whole day.
At the moment, I'm overnight at the Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, LA. About 30 miles north of I-10. I've got a king suit with a bathroom so magnificent that I think I find it sexually arousing. God help me when I finish up here and climb into the jacuzzi. I may NEVER come out!
Did some checking and I'm missing the major Mardi Gras stuff, which happens later this month, but there is Mardi Gras stuff going on in New Orleans this weekend. Who knew? But that's okay as I'm thinking I may be spending the weekend tooling around Baton Rouge and, possibly, visiting the famous Myrtles plantation. Y'all know about the Myrtles, right? It's one of the most haunted locations in the country. I'm thinking I might take the tour they offer, but if they have a vacancy perhaps I'll overnight? Maybe I'll see a ghost? You never know.
Got to go now as my jacuzzi is calling to me.
