Am I crazy or is it all just a vast conspiracy?

I went and saw 21 Jump Street at the movies yesterday and didn't laugh once. Why is everyone and their brother giving this film rave reviews? Am I that far out of step with the popular American mindset? Or was it just a bad movie and all those rave reviews are just the work of Hollywood spin doctors?
