So, I have a cousin who has been very supportive of my writing efforts. She's very enthusiastic about whatever I do. She reads whatever I put out and gives me 5-star reviews at Amazon, etc.
I'm very grateful for her support.
However, I wish that she would not leave reviews of my work. My cousin does very bad reviews, along the lines of, "this is a good book. i enjoyed this book. can't wait for the sequel."
And, yes, in case you were wondering, when she leaves reviews she leaves them just like that; no capitalization, no punctuation, just these short blunt statements that have all the punch of someone saying, "I like ice cream."
I'm very grateful for my cousin's support. I really am.
I just wish she could leave a review that doesn't sound like it was written by a fourth-grader.
Yes, I know this sort of makes me a dick, saying that, but I just sort of needed to vent about it.
