Today is my birthday.
Today is my birthday and I feel flat and old and dead inside.
I don't normally feel this way but I do today for some reason.
It is not a 'significant' birthday. No round numbers. It's just an ordinary, deadly dull birthday. So I don't know why I feel this way, but I do.
Maybe because it is such a deadly, dull birthday.
I am hoping to shake this feeling off with a little road trip. I am about to climb into my car with a small overnight bag and drive wherever the wind takes me.
So, hopefully when I stop tonight I'll be in a better mood.
