I didn't eat anything today until about 8PM. Drank a lot of water and had a Diet Coke, but wasn't really hungry. Got off work and went by the store where I bought:
1 Bag of Steamable Mixed Vegetables
2 Boxes of Banquet Maple Sausages
1 Can of Fried Apples
Came home, at the veggies and sausages, then added the fried apples to a can of sliced pears left over from earlier in the weak. Not sure how many calories that is, but I think it's less than 1900. Again, I'm not sure.
Whenever I eat, I try and stay either low fat or low carb. It's hard to do both. The only thing I really watch, though, is my protein. I try to get at least 50g per day so I don't lose muscle mass.
There's a lot of research that suggests when you eat only twice a day or less that you don't really have to worry about calories or macros or anything like that. Personally, I don't believe it. If you're only eating twice a day, but you're sucking down 3000 calories per meal you are not going to lose weight. You're going to gain. So I count calories. It works for me.
This week hasn't exactly been splendid as far as nutrition goes. I overindulged so I'm sort of anxious about weighing myself this Tuesday.
Ah well. We'll wait and see, I guess.
