Ugh. I am awake. It's not even 10 AM here and I am awake.
Why am I awake?
Because I was woken by the sounds of my roommate and his girlfriend having sex.
She's going on a road trip for the next week and, apparently, they were trying to make up for lost time or something.
I've had loud roommates before. Stan springs, instantly, to mind. He was highly sexed. He had a mattress in the back of his van, like a 1970s lothario, and had an almost supernatural ability to find girls who were screamers in the sack. Our bedrooms were right next to each other, sharing a wall, which did NOT help.
J isn't anywhere near as bad(or good?) as Stan. His last girlfriend was super-quiet and a bit self-conscious about having sex at the house. The new one is not.
She sounds very enthusiastic and, occasionally, surprised. Which makes me wonder what the hell J is doing, but that's another blog post entirely.
I just don't really enjoy being woken in the wee hours of the morning by all the moaning and gasping and bed banging against the wall.
And there's no point in trying to go back to sleep. I'm up. I've got a video to make, errands to run then a 40 minute drive to my mom's this afternoon so we can go watch my sister's kids play football.
I REALLY want to go back to sleep, though.
