Today has been somewhat trying.
The button popped off my shorts this afternoon and then the zipper started to go,so I had to go home and change into some new pants. All fine and good. But then, as I was leaving home, to head back to work, I hit traffic.
The first problem was the high school down the street, holding their homecoming parade. Sat in traffic for a little while until I managed to pop onto a side street and then head toward the highway.
BUT, President Trump was in town today and the police shut down most of the highway access and exit ramps. What should have been a 20 minute drive back to the store turned into a 2 Hour traffic nightmare. I swear, whoever planned out the driving route, should be boiled in oil!
Anyway, came home and had a great dinner. I had:
1 Carrot Cake Snack
1 can of White Potatoes
1 Package of Turkey Sausage
1 Can of Green Beans
5 Bananas.
Cooked the potatoes, sausage and green beans in garlic butter, then ate the bananas with some chocolate sauce. Altogether, it was only about 1500 calories.
