I woke up super early this morning. When I stuck my head outdoors, it was too damn cold to do anything so I hung out in the hotel room playing Candy Crush on my phone until about 1130. Then I went over the Mosaic Museum, where I asked about tickets for the ghost tour tomorrow night. The lady told me the tour was full, but then she doublechecked and discovered there was one spot left open. So I'm going on the ghost tour on Halloween Night. Hurrah!
Afterwards, I parked by the Shops and meandered toward the Wharf. Along the way I checked out the various little shops and found some presents for various people. I took a few pictures, which I've posted to my FB, and had lunch at the Wharf: fish & chips with the usual bland cole slaw. Then I ambled back to my car, stopping at the Sweet Shop to grab some praline cookies, and the various shops I'd been in before to buy the aforementioned presents.
It was around 330 by this time, so I went back to the hotel to put my stuff away. I hung out in the hotel room for a little while, before making my way to the Beach Village where I bought a bottle of sweet tea, then went to the convenience store and bought some supper. I was going to go out and eat tonight, maybe at the Westin or Redbug Pizza, but decided to get something a bit lighter. I'm probably going to go out to the beach again tonight, when things have calmed down a bit. Or maybe I'll check out the Wee Beach Pub.
Tomorrow is going to be my Outdoor Day. I'm going to check out the Glory Boardwalk, Driftwood Beach and the Wanderer's Trail on the south end of the island. Then tomorrow night I'm going on the Ghost Tour and after that? Who knows? Maybe I'll wander around the hotel grounds for a while, weather permitting, and see if I can spot any ghosts.
