I got up this morning and got Jorg a card for his birthday, then hunted down a bag and some tissue paper for the actual present: a Steve Rhodes t-shirt featuring Cthulu. I think he'll like it.
I didn't notice until I left the store though that I was literally coasting on fumes. Thankfully, I got to a gas station before my tank went dry and filled her up.
Then I came home and prepped the present, which I'm giving to Jorg tonight, even though his birthday is Saturday.
And now, I'm sitting here typing this, and looking at the clock. It's almost 2PM which can't come soon enough as I'm kind of hungry. I'm trying this flexitarian diet this week, where I'm mainly vegetarian for 3 days and the other three I allow myself meat. Tuesday, as always, is my Free Day and doesn't count.
So far, it's been okay. I will admit to having some weird cravings in the last twenty-four hours, which has led me to believe my body might need some additional fats. The last few days have been super-low fat, even for me!
I'm thinking I might buy a loaf of bread(!?!), something I haven't done in YEARS, and do PB&J sandwiches, with some egg salad on the side. And maybe some fruit and some corn chips? Or something along those lines?
I don't know. We'll have to see what happens when we get to the market.
