I drove out to Oldale State Park today and was surprised at the number of people at the park. I've never seen more than two other people at that park before, but then I remembered that today is Columbus Day so maybe that explains it.
I'd really have preferred if there had been fewer people out.
Anyway, I walked the Nature Trail, which is a little over a mile. It wasn't a bad trail, but I didn't get to finish it, as I could feel the rain coming.
After the park, I went to Books-A-Million, and wandered around up there for a bit, before heading for home. But, on the spur of the moment, I decided to head to the movies where I rewatched Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
Afterwards, I went by the market and grabbed a protein cookie, which tastes like DIRT, and a whey protein drink, which tasted like strawberries. Then I came home and had a nice conversation with Jorg, who went off rambling himself and had adventures (including standing beneath a 30 foot waterfall and sliding down a 40 ft incline toward a ravine).
Downstairs now, typing this up and thinking about tomorrow. I'm dropping the Problem Child off at the computer repair place, then that evening I'm going out to my friend, Paul's place, where we can talk and watch Kolchak: The Night Stalker episodes.
