I'm not doing anything this Labor Day weekend except working.
The irony does not escape me.
Color me amused.
Outside of work, and the very nice weather, my dance card has filled up quite nicely since my announcement that I'll be unavailable for dating after the 23rd.
Josh will be in town to help his folks. His dad, who's in his sixties, I believe, is having a stent put in and Josh will be helping take care of the farm. So, it is entirely possible I may be having a literal roll in the hay next week.
The ladies, Barbara and Donna, have complained about not seeing me as much lately, so we'll be getting together sometime soon. Hijinx, I'm sure, will ensue.
And Trevor, who has been incommunicado since I told him I didn't want to be exclusive, texted me to ask if we could "hang out" sometime next week. I am dubious about this as I think he might take my assent as a sign of weakness/softening. So, still debating that, although, if I'm honest, I wouldn't mind another tumble with him. Forgive my bluntness, but the boy has an amazing ass.
I've been following developments at Black Rock City a.k.a. Flooded Man, and I feel a bit sad for the attendees. I hope no one gets hurt and that folks can get out of the mud and back to civilization before their food/water runs out. I imagine there's already discussion about dropping in supplies if the situation persists. I'll bet you dollars to donuts, next years festival will have fewer attendees.
