My Internet problems have been 99% corrected. Appaently, water got into the underground line, damaging it, so the tech who came out put in a new surface line. The company will be out later to bury it properly.
On other, home-related fronts, Jorg told me that he and his Missus have been talking. They're thinking of ditching her rental house and moving back here. With her kids.
So they discussed building a two-car garage with a room above it that I could inhabit.
Um.
Yeah.
Not sure how I'm feeling about that. Would this be a proper room? Or just a crap space with a low ceiling I'm going to be bumping my head on every time I stand up straight? Would I have my own bathroom? Would it be wired for phone/internet? What about heat? Air conditioning?
If it doesn't have any of those, I might as well go sleep in the back of my car. Or get a job that pays me enough to rent a proper room in someone's home.
