I have a date tonight. :)
My friend, Lee, is making his annual drive from Savannah to Virginia Beach, to spend the holiday with his family, and, as usual, he will be overnighting near me.
I've known Lee for years. We met through mutual friends, when he was in his last year at SCAD. He's such a lovely person and I really look forward to seeing him every year. Sometimes, I think it would be nice if we saw each other more often, but then I wonder if greater frequency would remove the delicious frisson I feel whenever we meet.
I think I'm overthinking this.
All I really wanted to share was that I have a date tonight.
