I stepped on the scale this afternoon and confirmed what I had been suspecting for a little while. Over the winter, I have packed on the pounds. About fifteen to be exact. Pheh.
So, now I am sitting here and brainstorming a plan to shave these pounds off. I'm thinking of just slowly reducing caloric intake over the course of a couple of weeks, or just blacklisting all sodas and breads. Either one should be effective.
I'm wondering how this happened? Well, I know how it happened, but I'm wondering how I didn't really notice until now?
I'll admit, gaining weight is one of the things that kind of freaks me out. I do NOT want to return to being that guy who weighed over 300 lbs and had chest pains when he bent over to tie his shoes. That guy's been gone for almost three decades and I am NOT letting him come back! Believe me!
