I just finished watching the Easter special on Youtube. Apparently, it's been up for about eight hours and the Beeb hasn't had it yanked yet. Maybe they're giving the world an Easter gift? Don't know. All I do know is that the ep was mostly okay with some moments of Yay! sprinkled throughout out. I rather liked Lady Christina but I don't think she would have made a good companion. The Doctor's companions tend to reign him in and I don't think Christina would have done that. Best bit was the moment when Malcolm met the Doctor. Ha! And I really like Captain Mgumbo. I think she's a good heir to the Brigadier.
Overall, I'd give the special 8 out of 10 stars, just for the yay moments alone.
Oh, and there was a creepy prophecy at the end of the ep.
"It is returning, out of the dark."
Also, "He will knock four times."
Speculation is already rampant that they're bringing the Master back for another ep.
The previews for the next ep, showing sometime in November look interesting. It's called "The Waters of Mars." What I saw, looked pretty cool.
